deltaprincess:2011 election that brought Pres. Jonathan made it clear for all to see that only the Northern vote can and will never produce the presidency... Import voters from Chad, underage, goat, sheep and cattle...the north won't produce more than what Buhari polled... Combined vote from the SS,SE,SW,NC will always trouce votes from the north ... The northern Elites are very much aware of this..which make it uneasy for them to renege on existing agreement 1 Like 1 Share |

Tinubu was made to believed that supporting Buhari to oust gudluck Jonathan would make him the next president of Nigeria by soft landing (getting the ruling party ticket and massive support from the north). However, this is politics and the game is played by smart people who always act like fool. The only truth is that someone has so much for the north in the past 6yrs than another leader. |

I expect Buhari to play neutral and allow for primaries in APC for presidential candidate of the party. This is the same way he got the ticket of the party and he shouldn't try to force a preferred candidate on the party. With this, he will win the respect of all factions in the party. Anyone that emerge as winner in the primaries should be given maximum support by the party. Buhari should also remember that some people sacrificed a lot before he became the president. They are not saying you should support them but rather provide a level playing ground for interested persons to partake in the presidential primaries of APC. 3 Likes 1 Share |

You take a good look at the supposed leaders of tomorrow in Nigeria and you weep at the leve of stupidity, gross incompetence and misplaced priority exhibited. Follow follow youths, any where belle face. Youth that are supposed to be vibrant, calculative, innovative and selective of their leaders have chosen to perpetually impose old leaders upon the country and you expect Nigeria to be better over night This is how they started with Buhari: only for him to come and continuously blame Jonathan for his inability to rule a complex country like Nigeria. Buhari does not have the mental capacity at the moment to govern even a state, how much more a country. He came in on the mantra of 'change' not to blame but he failed woefully Buhari will end Bokoharam and insecurity Buhari will end fuel scarcity, build more refineries and revamp the old ones. Buhari will improve every sector of the economy Infact Buhari is not corrupt and is the right man for the job How far today? A president that does not have the mental capacity to hold a live press session. The same set of youths are trying to package the old and sick Tinubu to Nigerians. Tinubu should enjoy his retirement in peace but not in the state house. We need a young, vibrant and working president come 2023 How much are you paid to compromise the future of your children, grand children and future generations. If you decide to be tribalistic, look among your tribe, there are far better candidates. Aso Rock is not a retirement house, neither is it meant to compensate old politicians We need a working economy, research/innovation centres, better roads, etc. Is it by these crop of contestants who only think of themselves and their children?- both APC and PDP have failed Nigerians. We need to begin to act as smart , youths of we need a working economy, a country we can proudly call ours |

cutecommend: What is the essence of this topic? Is it to create a subject of meditation and consultation for the IBOs? For years when Tinbu laboured on his Political career from AC to ACN supporting candidates like Atiku Abubakar and Ribadu up till the time ACN takes its BROOM to support Buhari after he wept openly and lost courage after 2011 election, Tinubu was not an issue. It is now after labouring so much that he has become an individual that analysis has to be carried out on who can stop him. Analysis is not carried out on who can stop Atiku, or Wike or Anyim or Peter Obi. 6 Likes 1 Share |

deltaprincess: Remember, Tinubu does not have SW in his pocket when OBJ is there.. Tinubu have lots of clout in SW politics and so does OBJ. So if Tinubu is interested in securing the bloc, he needs OBJ to fight in his corner.. just like they say, when two elephants fight, the ground suffers.. if OBJ and Tinubu are on the opposite end, by the time Tinubu expends his energy to fight him off, other candidates are busy working other zones. Also remember OBJ have some love in SS,and up north, SE don't really dislike him like that.. I would think OBJ have more influence in SE than Tinubu. |

1nigeriamyfoot: Exactly. Let us wait and see. You ignorantly don't understand how deeply rooted APC in Lagos is. It's a way of life in Lagos and not a party. The grassroot is deep and every member benefits from the party, from PSP, gutter Clearing, Volunteers etc... Every public office holder from Teachers to civil servants are APC members. They are hundreds of thousands. It's impossible they loose. Like you said, time will tell. 1 Like |
