#CAMPAIGN FOR REFERENDUM AND NOT VIOLENT AGITATIONS!

NIGERIA DOES NOT NEED AN ARAB SPRING BUT A POPULAR REFERENDUM TO RESOLVE RESTRUCTURING AGITATIONS!

The country of Tunisia was the first to taste the bitter pills of Arab Spring people’s uprisings galvanized to force social reforms and eradicate generational bondage of oligarchy which existed in all North Africa/Middle East Arab nations in the early 2010s! And till date (March 2022), the country is still in political crisis in respect of acceptable leadership!

The Arab Spring was a series of anti-government protests uprisings and armed rebellions that spread across much of the Arab World. It began in response to corruption and economic stagnation and then spread to five other countries: Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Syria and Bahrain.
In the process, Arab rulers were overthrown, exiled, deposed and in extreme cases killed!
The large-scale conflict in those Arab countries created great economic setbacks still smoldering in civil wars, insurgencies and armed crisis which have decimated their oil and mineral wealths, peace, tranquility, which they now have to grapple with for many generations to come!

NIGERIA WILL NEVER GO THE ARAB SPRING WAY!

Palpable fear and jitters gripped Black Africa in those years especially sit-tight and very corrupt PDP leaders in Nigeria who were sore afraid for their safety and lives!
However, since Nigeria is neither an Arab nor Islamic State, patriotic citizens NEVER OPT FOR A REVOLUTIONARY OR BLOODY UPRISING BUT A PEACEFUL, AGREEABLE AND CONCENSUS RESOLUTION TO CONFLICTS.
Citizens are demanding that the INSTRUMENT OF POPULAR REFERENDUM was the only avenue to redress authoritarianism, kleptocracy, political corruption, human rights violations, unemployment, hyper inflation, poverty etc.

The ruling APC Government of President Major General Muhammadu Buhari and his kitchen cabinet are also aware that the peaceful resolution to the current INSECURITY
PREDICAMENT LIES IN REFERENDUM FOR ALL CONTENTIOUS ISSUES AS FOLLOWS:

Legislative processes must COMMENCE NOW to establish ( 1) State Police in all 36 states of the federation according to one of the 13 Recomendations of the 23-Member El Rufai Restructuring Committee of January 2018 which is now 4 years old! ( 2 ) Derivation Principles (3) Fiscal Federalism and Revenue Allocation (4) Devolution of Powers (5) Resource Control (exploitation and revenue sharing of resources from oil minerals (6) Local Government Autonomy (7) Independent Candidacy which will preclude CITIZENS from being forced to join any political party!

THE CONTENTIOUS NIGERIAN SENATE MUST BE SCRAPPED NOW!

There can be no better time for patriotic introspection by Nigerians to achieve political emancipation and break the yoke of mercenaries in government of their necks through a collective decision to sack the Senators and shut the Chambers to pave way for UNICAMERAL LEGISLATURE before the 2023 General Elections.
We still maintain our advocacy that the National Assembly (NASS), is the MAJOR DRAIN PIPE of the Nigerian economy and has outlived its usefulness! In this age of technology the House of Representatives requires only 74 members ie. Two from each state of the Federation and two from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with the compliment of digital-compliant civil servants, to handle (at the Federal level), legislative duties and adequate numbers from all CONSTITUENCIES IN A PARLIAMENTARY SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT.
ALTHOUGH LEGISLATORS CLAIM THAT THERE IS NO PROVISION FOR REFERENDUM AND INDEPENDENT CANDIDACY IN THE 1999 CONSTITUTION OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA ; (AS TRUE AS THAT MAY BE), THE PROCESS FOR THE CONVOCATION OF REFERENDUM IS THE POPULAR DECISION AND PREROGATIVE OF ALL PATRIOTIC CITIZENS!

Please join the campaign for REFERENDUM AND NOT VIOLENT AGITATIONS FOR ALL SOLUTIONS OF RESTRUCTURING OF THE NIGERIA PROJECT!

I am, yours sincerely, Dr. David B.A. Olufon.08130669886, 08080243066. G-mail-dvdolufon@gmail.

Oga calm down, the problem with Naija is not political but personal.

In a country wia ppl dont know dia destiny and how to activate it their will be trouble.

In a country wia people dont use dia creativity dia will be trouble.

Stop deceiving the masses.

We Nigerian hate to think, we are not creative, Have u heard about a state call San Francisco in the US? Check them out.

The USA is rich cos her citizens are d most creative in the world.

Where is Nigeria on this scale.
