Extradition happens when you commit a crime against that country. It doesn't matter if you are a citizen or not.

By shredding his passport he does not automatically stop him being Nigerian by records.People have being told this that all countries have procedures to renounce your citizenship and none include destroying your passport only.

Processes are required of you to officially renounce or lose your citizenship.
He ought to have followed it up with the needed request to FGN with his intent to renounce his citizenship. Otherwise all he has done is tear up his passport in showmanship. While officially retaining his record and citizenship with the government.

For anyone to believe tearing a passport equates citizenship renunciation only shows how shallow they are in thought and reason.

If Ekpa wants to renounce, he should follow all procedures. He can visit the immigration website or come to the Immigration office in Ikoyi Lagos for further explanations.
