I don't know what's happening to gtbank now adays to transfer money they will debit you like 3 times sometimes up to 40# that's if you're transferring to other Banks.

They do add VAT
Ussd
And some other small small money on top

It's getting annoying these days...that's why I switch all these online banks that literally let you make transactions for almost free and only use these commercial banks for savings.....

My own case is even worse, i was debited for sms alert as far back as 2020 all totalling ₦2,984. Heaven knows I didn't make up to two transactions on to the account since it's creation, where the transactions where I'm being debited for sms came from i really don't know.
Their reply to my mail wasn't satisfactory atall.

Mine happened over the last weekend and I was debited over 2k worth of charges for 2018/2019..

You guys better switch to Kuda. Not a single charge whatsoever to your account. Travel and come back, same amount untouched. Zero charges banking freedom.

I just switched to kuda as my day to day banking and leave the rest for saving alone

Just last month I was charged #1500, sometimes more than that for operating current account, that amount is for monthly maintenance and I don't even talk about their hidden charges...

Gtbank deducts my money everyday... On every credit alert I receive, Gtbank deducts. I almost argued with someone who was supposed to send 20k to me b'cos I saw 19,897naira. It's getting too much abeg..

It's very annoying these days. If person send you money they will deduct from it and also from you that send the money will still be charged. Wetin this people just keep making county hard for people.

Not only GTB even also UBA, First Bank and the rest are all thief i know this coz i have 6 bank account. I'm thinking of sterling Bank and standard chartered Bank also jaiz bank.
