Nigerian superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, professionally known as Wizkid has congratulated Beninese singer-songwriter, Angelique Kidjo on her Grammy Win.

Starboy’s fans went berserk shortly after the 4 time Grammy winner won the Best Global Music category at the 64th Recording Academy Awards on Sunday night, leaving their fave to lose out on the award.

Taking to Instagram more than 24hrs later, Wizkid felicitated Angelique Kidjo and American act, Black Coffee for their wins.

Big Wiz’s fans are pandering towards being sore losers as multiple reports have it that they swamped Angelique’s page to harass her in their hundreds.

We hope Wizzy’s update will suspend the renewed vendetta between the FCs and Davido’s stans on social media.

Wizkid lost the two nominations he bagged at the 64th Grammy Awards for best global music album won by Angelique Kidjo and best global performance won by Mohabat.
