Did u guys know d economic impact of that rail been connected to jos? So bcus bandits targeted a rail dat means all rails should be abandoned? Bt u guys were complaining about biaforu not connected by rail d other time. Bitterness is very bad.

Jos is already connected to southern Kaduna by rail via Kafanchan. She should be calling for the rehabilitation of that line.

I remember that year when Rail way was still functioning in Jos we were living at railway quarters then.That year when Obasanjo came to Jos via the train he shared money ,you see mobile police going for peace keeping and transfer via the train. oh...good old days .I sold water,ice block,helped mumcy to sell akara and Koko,sold soap ,bathing water and other things.i made money then.
As children When we sight the train coming we put bottle cork on the track for the train to flatten sharpen it for us..we travel for new year festival to kuru/Riyom by train .I miss those days abeg.
The area around the terminus became one of the biggest market in West Africa before it got burnt in 2001or 2002.
If only the govt can rebuild and revitalise the market and Jos musuem it will be a very good source of revenue for the state.


Some people don't even know where Jos,plateau is located on the Nigerian Map they just jump to comment.
