Read for sake of understanding. Slovakia did a trade in. They upgraded their weapons system to the modern US-made Patriot missile batteries by giving their older Russian made s-300 to Ukraine.

What you just witnessed is a strategic move by USA not just help Ukraine create a balance in air superiority but to also help upgrade a NATO country's defence weapons just in case there is an escalation.

USA specifically targeted Slovakia because they had Russian air defence missiles which would be easily used by Ukraine because they would require zero training for that.

Patriots missile defense systems is not as effective as the Russian made S300,it has failed in so many battle field.

Ukraine has 100s of S300 before the start of the war, and Russia has destroyed a significant number of them. If Ukraine is receiving 4 units from Slovakia it means that Russia has decimated almost all of Ukraine's air defenses and these 4 will also be destroyed without delay. Russian jets and helicopters have had a field day in Ukraine meaning that Ukraine's air defense is second to zero.
Those supporting the West in this war are just clueless. Zelensky has been running around the world looking for help, which means that Russia is seriously dealing with her. Ukraine will never be the same.

First of all its not being sold to Ukraine, it's donated.

Secondly, Slovakia bought it from Russia mostly likely before joining Nato.

Slovakia is replacing them with advance US made defense shield.

Even Russia now has advanced s-400 though the s-300 is still a very deadly weapon against fighter jets.

You are very correct. And this shows that no country actually care about your interest. Everything is about national interest. US made weapon sales, Slovakia upgraded her weapon arsenals and Ukraine got an upgrade.

Because Turkey refused to send its S400 even with the offer of Patriots and THAAD and F35 fighters

Anyway Ukriane has alot of S300PT, S300PT1 and S300V and all of them, I mean 6 batteries and numerous units of air defence have been destroyed. what then can 4 units of S300PMU do?

Putin so stupid. Fighting Ukraine is like fighting the whole of Europe because Europe will continue to supply unlimited weapons and upgrades and who will supply Russia?

Putin needs to start planning a knock out to save his face or an exit strategy because he can't sustain this fight on the long run. This is a very simple analysis.

The fool might decide to take a chunk of the world with him using his nukes, but are Russian citizens blind at this madness? Personally , this war just spells the end of his reign

Seems like you guys don't know what air defence is

A cruise missile with low altitude trajectory will fly all the way from Azov sea, pass Kherson/Mykolaiv pass Odessa, Vinnytsia, Terrapin and hit a target at Lviv and you say there's air defence

We don't like the truth in this country

On average over 50 air raids are conducted in Ukraine everyday
