The issue of tithe has been subject of great controversy. Some are testifying that the transformation of their finance was as a result of their obedience and faithfulness in tithing. Others in other hand said that tithing is not biblical and are opposed to tithing in all ramifications. They are opposed to tithing because they had not proved GOD through tithing. Because they had not proved the issue of tithing, they are ready to fight over the mention of tithing.

Now, I want to ask you, you that are tithing or not paying tithe what are your reasons? You that are tithing, have you proof for your obedience? You that are not tithing do you have reasons for your action? You that not tithing are you doing so because the sons of belial are opposed to tithing or are you convinced of your action?

^^^ Have you not heard the good news? According to Chris Oyakhilome, you do not have to obey God in order to receive God's blessings!

We’ve been made partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of light. We’re sharers and participators in the blessings and benefits of the Kingdom-life reserved for all God’s children. This happened when you were born again; you were born with an inheritance. You don’t have to try to “obey” the law for God to bless you; you were born blessed (Ephesians 1:3).

Also, you’re the fruit of Christ’s obedience:

“Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous” (Romans 5:18-19).

Can you now see why you don’t have to try to obey God first for Him to bless you? Someone obeyed God on your behalf, and His Name is Jesus. Through His obedience, God’s gift, His blessing of righteousness, was bequeathed to you.

Nowhere in the New Testament are we told to “obey” God or “obey” the Law. Rather, we are called His obedient children:

“As obedient children, not fashioned yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance” (1 Peter 1:14). We’re described in scriptures as having obeyed God’s Word of truth from the heart (Romans 6:17).

So our blessings and inheritance in Christ aren’t preconditioned on obedience; rather, they are our birthright![/color]

You want to tell me that you are the son of disobedience. If you can't obey the word of GOD why say you are a son of GOD?

Are you illiterate or just duplicitous or perhaps just daft?

Is a whole "Pastor" Chris Oyakhilome wrong to say you do not have to obey God to receive his blessings?

If you have issues with what Oyakhilome said, then take it up with him and his followers!

We have been through this fraudulent doctrine of tithes several times on this forum and all the so called questions you raising has been thoroughly addressed, it has been proven beyond any iota of doubt that the modern day practise of tithes is not biblical or applicable to Christians. Tithes as it is preached and practised today is at best a fraudulent manipulation of the biblical one. That asides several examples of tithers abound who are living in penury whilst more examples of non tithers abound that prospering big time so just stop this your over recyled fraud and let's have some peace.

God defined His tithe to be a tenth of crops and animals in Leviticus 27:30-33. Are you being obedient to His Word if you tithe money instead?

God commanded His tithe to be taken to the Levites in Numbers 18. Are you being obedient to His Word if you take His tithe to church instead?

Those who take a tenth of their income to the church are being obedient to their pastor, or beliefs of their RELIGION, not obedient to God's Word. Nowhere in God's Word does He command a tenth of your income, nor does He command a tithe of anything be taken to the church.

Church goers who think they are tithing per God's Word proves just how easy it is to manipulate God's Word and gives a new meaning to a sucker being born every minute.
