My brother, more power to your elbow.
I did something similar in Anambra though, but for a non-governmental organisation.
I was the digital communications personnel.
And it was so fun.
I learnt a lot in the process, and I came to realise that INEC is really trying their best.

You don't need any godfather.
..
But you and your party will need DOOR-TO-DOOR CAMPAIGNING in order to get non-partisan people vote for you without having to rely on the party strength to win.
..
And when I say DOOR-TO-DOOR CAMPAIGNING, I mean every single bit of it.
