The All Progressives Congress (APC) caucus in the senate has wished Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo good luck in his quest to lead Nigeria.

Osinbajo formally joined the 2023 presidential race on Monday.

On Tuesday, he hosted the legislators to Iftar dinner at his official residence at Aguda House within the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting held behind closed doors but the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan who led the APC senators to the Villa told reporters what transpired.

“We had Iftar dinner with His Excellency, the Vice President and thereafter we had brief interaction on our Government and of course on the Vice President’s declaration to run for the presidency of our great country, the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” Lawan said.

When pressed further, Lawan said: “naturally, the Vice President told us that he has expressed his interest and that he wanted to consult with the Senate APC caucus.

“He wanted us to hear from his mouth and we did and he was seeking our support in whatever way we can at the appropriate time and we wish the Vice President good luck in this endeavour.

“But let me assure everyone that the Senate APC caucus and indeed the National Assembly caucus of the APC will continue to work very hard for our great party, the APC, to continue to provide services to Nigerians and also work hard to ensure that by 2023, the next administration is an APC administration at the center and majority of the States in our country, by the Grace of God will be APC.”

Osibanjo is a failure for over seven years.
Name one non-yoruba person that osibanjo gave appointments in 7 years. He only favoured his yoruba people with appointments. This is a man who claimed he want to come and unite this country.

The $1000 reward is still on: tell us one achievement of osibanjo in 7 years and will $1000.

That's what I wish him too- good luck, especially as his boss takes him on in a "dirty fight".
But Amaechi is my preferred candidate sha. He's got a good track record of achievements, and he's got the balls to face Nigeria's issues!

I would have bought the idea of Osibanjo being able to change this country if he was a neutral. The current administration which he is part and parcel of is a failure. It's shambolic and disgraceful for him to even contest . A professor and universities are closed down? Not once or twice. No na....It is from sleep a man knows how death will look like.

As for Tinubu, he should go back home and tend to his family. We don't want another walking corpse!

It seems APC has concluded power is going to the South, every 'top' southerner in APC is trying to try his luck. it's gonna be interesting.

Meanwhile, PDP will most likely throw their open. Zoning is not their major issue, returning to power is.

In ancient Greece, it was their custom, that once a man was considered to me too powerful, the people came together to cast ballot and exile him for a time, so his power and popularity will wane, and so they will be balance.

This policy was to ensure a despot does not rise to wield so much power that no body could counter.

Even she he is a nobody, Tinubu wields so much power that the President does not dare confront him, head on, no one else dares him.

So what happens when all this power is consolidated with Presidency, the GCFR.

Its why, no matter how many people that smile in Tinubu's face, they will all love to stick blades into him behind his back.
At this stage, its the fear which he had built up as a wall against anyone daring to confront him. That will work against him..

If given the opportunity, "Who will not like to retire Tinubu ? Who ?

The same people who were disturbing us on this space STAR BOY STAR BOY suddenly are now calling Osibanjo a betrayer. One simple question to you guy's is since Tinubu made Osibanjo who he is, isn't it also clear to us now that, he also schooled him on how to be a betrayer? Tinubu wey betray Awolowo and Afenifere for his own political gain nko.

NB= Did you know that Obasanjo also made Buhari when he appointed him as his minister of petroleum resources.

Yet the same Buhari contested against Obj in 2003 and nobody screamed betrayal.

Abeg make una getout

So that means Osibanjo is on his own...

It's funny how the good luck would have sounded...

At the end, it would about who Buhari supports...
