Russian navy evacuates flagship in Black Sea. Ukraine claims it was hit by a missile

(CNN)One of the Russian Navy's most important warships is either floating abandoned or at the bottom of the Black Sea, a massive blow to a military struggling against Ukrainian resistance 50 days into Vladimir Putin's invasion of his neighbor.

Russian sailors have evacuated the guided-missile cruiser Moskva, the flagship of its Black Sea fleet, after a fire that detonated ammunition aboard, Russian state media reported Wednesday.

State media outlets TASS and RIA, citing the Russian Defense Ministry, said the Moskva had been seriously damaged in the incident and that the cause of the fire was being investigated. The Russian reports gave no information on possible casualties.

Neptune anti-ship cruise missile is doing its job. Neptune was developed by Ukraine military in response to Russian annexation of Crimea. Russia gets warships. Ukraine gets anti-ship missiles. Russia gets tanks and fighter planes, Ukraine gets javelins and Stugna-p.
In the end, peace treaty would be signed. War is becoming useless.

Ww3 will destroy planet ecosystem. It will affect everyone living on earth. It will be nuclear. Cold war is different thing. Yes, cold war has started. It will linger for a long time with or without ceasefire in Ukraine.

This is a major win for Ukraine and an utter humiliation for Russia.

The Ukraine I know will film themselves releasing the missiles and hitting the ship and put it on social media since that is where they're winning the war. But here, no filming of the missile being released, no evidence of ship sunk. Even the US have said it cannot verify the Ukrainian claims.

The ship probably hit a floating mine since there are lots of them in that area, or some form of incidence within it. Ukraine is just claiming a glory that doesn't belong to it to high moral amongst it's forces as many of them have been surrendering en mass lately.
