HOW SHOULD CHRISTIANS CELEBRATE EASTER?
Christians should celebrate Easter in gratitude to God as they remember the ultimate sacrifice of love. The death and resurrection of Jesus should necessarily be remembered and celebrated at all times and in all seasons. For instance, in the earthly walk of Jesus, He adjures us to take the communion often in remembrance of Him. The Holy Communion reminds us that His body was broken and His blood was shed for the remission of sins. We don’t wait for Easter before we partake in the communion. In the same vein, Jesus should be hallowed and celebrated daily by all Christians. We identify with Him in death and His glorious resurrection always, Hallelujah!

Some people see Easter as just another holiday or festival for fun. I observed that Easter is supposedly celebrated in pubs, clubhouses and various entertainment centres, with tags such as Easter fiesta, Easter bash, Easter extravaganza, Easter reloaded etc. They do so for the hype and fun of partying without recourse to the significance of Easter.
