I think that the president and his Northern cabal are deliberately encouraging all Southern politicians to declare for the presidency in order to use their numerous numbers to devide Southern votes both at the convention and in the Presidential elections proper. My hunch is that Buharis candidate is a northerner. A man who has been so fixated on endless tribal appointments as Buhari will not find it easy to surrender power to southerners, knowing how easy it's for the rest of the country to turn against the north for all the nepotistic actions of The president and the murderous rampage of the Fulani herdsmen and co..
