The VP actually have no role in a democratic settings. Any decision he takes is useless and will still need the ministers or president to sign off. That office is a waste of space but I get your point nonetheless.

What could be the rationale why the newly inaugurated APC NEC for transferring its powers to NWC? The answer is simple, it is to impose the direction and decision of the party on everyone without much rancour.

It will be easy for the cabals to persuade 2/3 members of the NWC to align with their plot. At the end of the day, party decision will be said to be superior to individual or regional interest.

The scheming and political maneuvering is getting interesting.

IYou may be right they may end up voting on the mode of primaries and at the end the people that have majority will carry the day

Am of the believe that consensus will be used as the contestants are many.

Microzoning may as well be used to prune down contestants
These actors are very versed in political engineering
I am watching the game closely and critically
II see PMB bringing the president while governors will bring VP, anyway my one Kobo opinion
But certainly PMB will influence who ever will emerge as the standard bearer of the party
