God bless you, brother. I, myself, am a kind of person who do not always have the intention to do something of this nature to a landlord. Infact, I would prefer they are the ones to do me bad instead of me being the villain.

Before I packed into the house I'm now, the lawyer who takes care of the house promised to offset the outstanding bill on it but got the money and to no avail. Now, also, rent has been increased but nothing has been said on the sixty plus thousand outstanding. If I turn to a bad person tomorrow because of this, people will blame me instead of looking at what initially caused the issue. I have been paying the gbese small as it is now on my prepaid.

Write an official quite notice and serve him . State your reasons for the quit notice as follow...1. failure to pay rent 2. Personal use of the house . Give him 3 months cuz he has already exhausted his 6 months free rent for an annual rent in the case of quit notice and then go on to pull the roof of he doesn't pack . He should take you to court.....

First of all, are you sure your lawyer does not have a hand in this?
Are you sure your lawyer has not something dishonest that warranted such attitude from the tenant?
Have you spoken with the guy yourself to know if there is anything you need to know or are you just going with your lawyers report i.e whatever your lawyer says?

If your lawyer has a hand in it, then sort it out amicably and make sure the issue leading to it is resolved.
But, if the tenant is doing that out of wickedness then the easiest way is to serve him quit notice, siting you want to renovate the place or give another reason to back it up.

After the notice is due, start removing the roof on his own part of the house.

Or arrange with a trusted person and act as if the house has been sold, let that one serve all of them quit notice, you can now decide on which tenant to keep or discard.

Simple case. You have to options to chase them out.

Option One- Organise somebody to carry a lawyer there and put for sale on the said property. After some time let somebody go and give them another quit notice that he is the new owner of the property.

Option Two - Remove the roof of the house. Tell them you want to renovate the property.

Withdraw the case from court and take it to justice court in Lagos. You will receive quick judgement and it is binding.

You don talk now, e sweet you for mouth. It's not as simple as you think. The landlord will still be required to give the tenant ample time to find another suitable accommodation. Na that "suitable" clause a wicked tenant go take finish landlord. He will always claim that he is still searching and the courts will keep extending the deadline.
If landlord is not careful, tenant will stay another 2 years rent free. Removing doors, windows or roof is the worst thing the landlord will do.

I am currently abroad. When I was around, tenant don't owe upto a month but since I left, it has been a terrible experience.

Pay and get the police to evict the dude. Like yesterday. Unless he pays arrears , plus cost you paid to police.
