No be yoloba again? Fear fear ppl When he was enjoying d king entourage and goodies, he didn't remember he is abobaku. Learnt they will harvest the king's heart this night, that's y there is curfew. They will cook it for a new king to eat. Cannibalism still exists in yoloba land 1 Like 1 Share

haabidah666: Waywardness... But the civilised and non-African system which is not wayward allows some people tagged soldiers to sleep and dine in Sambisa forest and accumulate bullets in their bare bellies while the rest of us live comfortably in our homes. The modern system allows the "security forces" to face death when death and insecurity threaten the peace and comfort of the majority. The modern system allows some people to always stand by the president and sacrifice to protect the president and even sacrifice themselves if need be. You don't have the right to describe any cultural practices with derogatory terms until you understand its significance within the culture it is established. For you to reached a value judgement on any cultural practice, you must study such practice as an insider as well as an outsider. 4 Likes 1 Share |

The Abobaku may run but he will be called back by spiritual forces to fulfill his duty besides the late oba . Even if the Oba has been buried according to Islamic rites , the normal traditional rites must be observed,no be everything dem go tell you. Advise to all strangers and corpers , don't keep late night these period and stay indoors more . For the night is dark and full of terrors 2 Likes |

It is believed that the title was a way of strengthening loyalty and preventing betrayal that could lead to the King’s untimely death since whoever occupied the position was sure to protect the King as much as he could, to avoid his death 2 Likes |

jrusky:Who's this wailer? After the Mallam did his job and went away together with everyone, do you know what happened next? It's naive not to know that the traditionalist will still do their own. Dude was a king and not a sheik. If you see the abobaku, please alert the palace authorities. 1 Like |
