Gtbank Refused To Reverse A Declined POS Transaction After Several Complaint by ithink7: 9:58pm On Apr 24, 2022
There seems to be some sort of fraudulent and wicked activities going on in Gtbank right now. I reported a case of a declined POS transaction with the decline receipt to Gtbank around February/March. Customer service replied to my email, saying I should go and talk to the POS vendor (A Mobil filling station) where the transaction took place. How do I ask a business to refund my money with a declined receipt?

GTbank is now ignoring all my emails and complaint. I copied CBN consumer protection (cpd@cbn.gov.ng) but they seem to be a dead department. Hearing stories of how people become frustrated and unable to retrieve their money from these banks gets me angry.

I want to hear other people's opinions on how to deal with this issue.

I am going through the same thing. I reported a dispense error since the 28th of March and I have been ignored till now, even after countless emails.
