Core Mission of The Role
 Accountant will perform accounts receivable and accounts payable functions without any supervision,
 Will assist in the preparation and submission of taxes and other financial reports.
 Will be responsible for bookkeeping, ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
 He will track cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company’s financial strength and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions.
Responsibilities
o Perform general accounting activities including preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements and capital expenditure schedules,
o Tax reporting and inventory processing Collecting and analyzing data, which is then used in the preparation of weekly and monthly estimates for the Company.
o Preparing weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure.
o Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
o Responding to financial inquiries by gathering and interpreting data
o Examining financial records to check for accuracy
o Ensure the Company's cash management and banking activities are efficiently carried out.
o Provide financial support including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget.
o Preparation of audit files including statutory accounts in accordance with legal requirements.
Requirements
 Minimum of BSc/HND in Accounting with at least 5 years’ experience in related field
 Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ICAN, ACA) is an added advantage
 Proficiency in Microsoft office
 High Integrity, utmost confidentiality level
 Good analytical and Communication skills
 Detail-oriented with expert knowledge of (GAAP) accounting procedures and financial reporting practices
