You don't even know Aba, if you did, you would know that the road named PH Road(which is a continuation of Asa Road) is a State road. That road got really bad from OUK's tenure and he did nothing about it.
Since 1999 Abia State has never got it right in terms of its governors, and OUK set a bad precedent.
By the time he was leaving in 2007, he replaced himself with another colossal failure in person of T.A.Orji, and the trend has continued!

Roads were good, salaries were paid, Sports in the state was booming (u can't even argue that), security of lives & property was great, lots and lots of employment. etc

Unfortunately for Abia, selfish governments succeeded him; and of course every good work requires maintenance, but the succeeding regimes did nothing to maintain those good works.

Even as a senator, constructing and maintaining LOCAL, STATE, EVEN FEDERAL ROADS, that's a plus. It's the job of the government in it's entirety.

If road must be constructed, the facilitator or constructor, has a responsibility of ensuring that quality work is done.

So, it is Orji Kalu's responsibility to construct roads through facilitation and to see that the jobs are done properly.

You should know the type of politics Ndi Abia play.
It will be easier for APC to win Abia than APGA.. if you are from Abia state you should know that.
Abia state has it own state Party ie: PPA.

There was never a time the charter was meant to rotate among the three senatorial zones ... rather it was meant to rotate among the old division..
then Abia was meant to have a neutral capital called Abia LGA.. which Abia north under the then afipko zone terminated.
The name Abia was coined from the first two letters of Aba (AB) and the last two letters of Umuahia (IA). But Ogbonnya Onu and OUK changed it to Aba, Bende, Isiukwuato and Umuahia.

Ngwa is silently paying Abia north and their allies back in their own coins.
2023 around the corner. Ndi Ngwa will continue to vote for an Ngwa man. we are opting for either Sen. Abaribe or Prof. Ikonne.

Add that he's not the one using substandard materials for the road. The contractors are to be blamed for that, anywhere in Nigeria.
If the money is not enough for quality work, then don't take the contract.
