The reality is that over here in the North the land borders were never closed contrary to what the government is telling Nigerians.
President Buhari stated that he has cousins in Niger republic and he maintains close contact with them so who is that customs officer that will separate him from his relatives when he is even building a railway to link them up.

The target of the border closure was to economically subjugate the South West and stifle businesses which depends on the border transactions.

Now that elections are close, they are pretending as if they have done Nigerians a huge favour.
Meanwhile the local rice production they claimed was the reason and to stop foreign rice coming in its still where they met it to the point they had to buy rice from Niger republic using the same 'closed' border to display as rice pyramid in Abuja.

Buhari just purposely punished the masses by closing the border because I'm yet to see the good the closure brought to the country if not intense hunger and suffering...

This singular act should make any sensible person not vote for all this old men ever again cos it seems their analog brains can't keep up with modern reality.

What of the more than a thousand northern boarders? Foolanis are treating the rest of the country as third class citizens. This is gross injustice.

What have they gained now for doing all these?
On another note,if you ever have any encounter with all these paramilitary agencies, you will come across frustration first hand.
Road Safety, Custom, Immigration etc

Why won't Tinubu allow these things when it will help make the local rice cheaper and give people options. Tinubu is the people's president, the leader of leaders, a Godsent for the time we are in. He will make Nigeria proud again. Let's pray that ori inu wa oni ba tode wa je!

I said the same thing last year, as long as people allow it to happen, it will keep happening. Reason he appointed Burantai to watch what Yoruba are doing and sent Olonisakin to Cameroon when he's more suitable for Benin republic, Emenike for Cameroon and Burantai for Niger. He appointed fulani though for Chad, I guess that's another border in need of trusted ears. In all of these Yoruba didn't say anything even when we brought it to their attention last year. Yoruba are the ones to blame in cases like this because if one million of our useless elders can just think about the future of their children, invite journalists worldwide and block Apapa Wharf, Tincan, Lagos airport and demand for freedom. How many can the soldiers kill before it catches the world attention? Yoruba have so much power but haven't wielded any of it.

They were even clapping!

Na wah for APC and poor leadership. After shutting the southern borders for 2 years and 8 months, afflicting the citizens with hardship, they are rejoicing in that video over their very evil policy.

Association of poverty controllers (APC).
