I don't think there is much to celebrate here. We have been operating 4G for almost 6years or so and yet it's still a struggle to get consistently fast speeds. Some people are lucky and where they stay, the speed is decent, but many others really struggle. So what will be different about the 5G deployment in another 3 years.

Besides the fact that they have the license and spectrum on its own doesn't mean super fast speeds will drop out of the air. It has to be backed up by fibre optic connections to the multiple base stations. And that means there must be extra capacity on those back bones. Where will it come from?

How pastor Chris feel about this now?
Just wondering.
But even the 4G still give us headache
Nigerian 5G can't be compared to UK's 4G

But congrats to us we go manage this one too

If pastor Chris Oyakhilome ever use this 5G then it shall never be well with him for misleading millions. Most Africans may suffer from Self inflicted Amnesia but I don't. Everything this man said about 5G must not be forgotten.

It's time we start holding these con men to a standard. I will only respect this man if he stand by his words and reject this 5G technology. He must instruct all Christ Embassy branches worldwide to avoid 5G too. I have zero tolerance for Hypocrisy and lieing.

For a man with zero background in the sciences, if you see how this pastor Chris devoted all his time and faculties trying to explain how the antichrist and corona virus were all tied to 5G you will pity for all Christ Embassy members. Just go to youtube and see for yourself. Search for Pastor Chris 5G coronavirus conspiracy videos. This man's ignorance and arrogance will make you weep for Nigerians and Africans at large.

What's misplaced priority about this ?
If 4g is slow where you stay, then RELOCATE!

And that is exactly his point, is 4G supposed to be slow in any part of the country by now?

All the people claiming this is misplace priorities, are you people normal?

The more options in the market, the better for you. Why are some Nigerians actively trying to hold this country back?

5G is even long overdue sef.

Even the US has areas with poor coverage

Some of the issues he’s facing could be due to congestion, and a move to 5G could help with that.

But more importantly, one person’s bad experience must not be allowed to spoil it for everyone.
