Some will be remembered as the worst President Nigeria ever had and the worst President during whose tenure unimaginable blood was spilled. What a shame!
I still remember the soldier and the wife their heads were cut off few days ago. What was their crime? Failed leadership destroys a nation. Nigeria should pray that this type of leadership and anything that has to do with it does not come their way anymore. Its painful to the heart.

Yar'adua is from a different side of Fulani.

Yar'Adua's grand was in public service and served as what we can refer to as Trasurer of the then Sultanate Caliphate ( of Northern Protectorate). His father was also first Republic minister of Federal Capital? Lagos. He came from a linage of public servants with integrity. He would have betrayed the family to do otherwise. As nig as Yar'Adua family is, you hardly trace ignoble acts to them. I might be wrong though.

When he took over the mantle of leadership, One of his first actions was the compulsory retirement order he gave to top ranking officers at the Nigerian customs then, which affected the cadre from number two to number seven, most of whom were not from the northern extraction, he then installed the next in rank to number 7 in the cadre to Comptroller General, who is from the northern extraction. As at the time he came in as president, the comptroller general then has completed his tenure and retired. I could remember then that the second in rank to comptroller general was from Osun, they were all retired by force. No matter how good a Fulani president may be, one thing you can't separate from them is tribalism and nepotism. When it comes to power, they don't obey federal character, that word exists only in the dictionary of southerners. Indeed Yaradua tried his best for Nigeria, but his short stay in office did not give him the privilege to showcase what he's up to, in terms of good governance. Since 1999, Nigeria has not really enjoyed good governance for complete 4 years.

Almajari President that removed a Professor of Economics Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo the Solution as CBN governor and replaced it with a MSc in Islamic Studies holder Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. A university lecturer under whose watch the country's universities were shut for 6 months. Such a man is nothing but a tribal bigot and an incompetent nincompoop.

In my view, Nigeria has never had a good leader. They all just follow the corrupt footsteps of their predecessors. It's like there's a manual they give during hand over. In his time we experienced one of the longest AASU strike and as we speak AASU is still on strike after twelve years, two about 4 tenures after his own. That's d definition of true retrogression

One of the worst administrators we have had.

Being the first university graduate as president, one expected much, but he gave absolutely nothing.

Our education became even worse, our health sector went deeper in its comatose as he spent almost 3 years wasting our resources on health tourism.

He and his family were also power drunk. He had to deceive millions of Nigerians by claiming to be healthy, including challenging any doubting Thomases to a squash game. But it turned out that he had been sickly all through his time as governor.

The worst we have had, to say the least.

And put our budget into deficit as a result...plus he was able to afford it because oil in 2008 shot up to $140 and above.

Plus, he did nothing about improving domestic refineries.
