We've all heard about Amazon affiliates, whether on the web or some acquaintance on nairaland. Well, today we're going to have a look at the platform and see whether it's worth it in 2022.

Now for those of you who don't know what amazon affiliate is:
Amazon affiliate program is an affiliate program by Amazon itself, where affiliates get partnered with vendors and help promote amazon products online. Affiliates receive commission after they make sales from the product they promoted, commission varies based on the category of the product. Also, Affiliates are given a unique affiliate link that they use to promote the products. So let's say you sign up for the Amazon affiliate program and you generate your link and post it on some different random sites or your own website. And let's say you get some attraction from someone on the web and they make a purchase using your link, you'd receive your commission and get paid.
Now their payment methods can be a little bit tricky, especially for Nigerians, but the good news is you can open a Payoneer account and receive your payments through it.

I heard about the program back in 2016, it was even discussed on nairaland. However here we are in 2022 so I just wanted to see what's new with the program. Here are some important things you should note about the program:

1. It's not a get-rich-quick scheme.
2. You need solid writing skills, as you would be promoting Amazon products to the US audience ( not only Nigerians).
