PRESS RELEASE

The NNPC Ltd notes
the sudden appearance of fuel queues in parts of Abuja. This is very likely due to low loadouts at depots which usually happen during long public holidays, in this case, the Sallah celebrations. Another contributing factor to the sudden appearances of queues is the increased fuel purchases which is also usual with returning residents of the FCT from the public holidays. NNPC and the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority ( NMDPRA) in conjunction with our marketing partners have taken necessary measures to ramp up loadouts from all depots. We assure all residents of the FCT, and indeed all Nigerians, that we have ample local supplies and national stock in excess of 2.5 billion liters, with sufficiency of more than 43 days.
The NNPCL hereby advises motorist not to engage in panic buying as supplies are adequate as will become increasingly evident in the coming days.

Garba Deen Muhammad,
GGM, GPAD,
NNPCL.

Abuja.

There is always a statement to back up unpreparedness. So because of people returning from holiday, fuel don scarce? undecided

Young men and women, recall how we were deceived in 2015, remember, see what it has put us into, and must we allow ourselves to be deceived the 2nd time?
Woe betides us if we install another nonagenarian, sick and fatigued individual as president in this country.

We know say everything is a failure under Buhari regime...that man is a disease...Nigeria is now a betnaija BABY where the CEO and agents (Buhari and APC politicians) are cashing out big while gamblers (ignorant Nigerians) are losing their resources everyday...
Only ignorant Nigerians are concerned with Nigeria problem these days...it is easy for a camel to go through a noodle hole than to see Nigeria becoming better under any political party in this generation...the debts, the embezzlement, the corruption, the lies and even the selfish governance...
I am working hard to make things right for my future kids so they won't taste half of what I have been through...even if my father failed me...I must not fail my kids...
Pray for yourself and your family and stop wasting time praying for these useless leaders...
The only language BUHARI and APC understand now is 2023 general election...any other language is a noise and distraction... lipsrsealed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed
And before u quote me...think twice if your comment against what I wrote won't spoil your life cos you must tell God to govern your family and your generation affairs the way APC and Buhari are governing us...IRE OOoo

Seasonal variations in fuel demand are foreseeable. Some guys in your office are paid to carry out these analysis. Ramp up fuel distribution before festivities and you won't have any reason to become jittery and give this typical medicine after death approach.

At a time of high crude oil prices, the Naira is being battered due to Buhari's epic incompetence.

He had opportunities to end fuel subsidies and deregulate the price on 2 clear occasions which were in January 2016 and during the lock down but failed to grab it with both hands.

Now the government saddled with providing ₦4tr to subsidize petrol this year and the Naira is being punished for it.

Also, oil production of about 1,300,000 barrels daily is just not tenable. Simply increasing production to 1, 800,000 barrels daily would do wonders for the government's empty purse.

The government blames oil theft for the poor output. Rather than winge and whine like a toddler, it should think outside the box for answers. If Jonathan was clueless, PMB, is simply on another level
