Please is there anything law that says banks shouldn't collect 2009 dollars bills.

I am presently at access bank and the guy at the counter is refusing to take the notes.

Saying it's printed from 2009

Bring them to me, I will take.

If you take it to Aboki , they would price it very low , I really don’t know why.


If you have any friend coming from jand, tell him to bring from 2013 upwards

I withdrew the dollars from GTBANK (they do collect 2009 notes) and went to deposit in to an access bank account... And they told me that they don't accept 2009 bills.

After going back and forth from gt and access... I finally deposited.

GTBank changed the 2009 bills and gave me 2013 and 2017
