Soldiers broke into warehouses and seized businessmen's goods, shared among themselves and their wives and sold the rest to the public at ridiculous prices .When that finished . Nigerians had to queue all day to buy Omo, Key soap etc

That was when the phrase "essential commodities" entered our vocabulary because basic things like soap, oil, salt were very scarce.

The reason you are saying this, is because you want to make a point. He had goodwill for those periods, after him the country went further down. It was because of good will of the past, that he gained popularity. In the context of your country, that era was termed as good. This second coming was a disaster.
