nwekeugochukwu:
2023 Presidential hopeful, Adamu Garba had joined the Young Progressive Party (YPP) hours after leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC), IGBERETV reports.

Adamu Garba who was seeking for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC withdrew from the party on Wednesday stating that he can no longer tolerate APC's love for money over competency.

He pulled down the APC party’s flag in his office to show his withdrawal of membership from the party.

Adamu Garba later apologized to Nigerian youths for his act. He said he is now a changed person who has realized his mistakes and also ready to move along with Nigerian youths to chat a new course for the future of Nigeria.

Unveiling his new party, he wrote on Twitter;

Adamu Garba has nothing to offer.
After using APC to ride to limelight, he thought he can fool Nigerian youths.
What are his track records in making Nigeria better socio-economically?

There is no way Obi is winning the primary , Atiku is winning the ticket , you can take it to the bank .

Though for fairness I think we should have a igbo president considering how much they were being sidelined, unfortunately it won't fly the day. Politics is a game of number and pdp is also desperate to return to power, another thing is the money bags, can Obi boost of that? undecided

As for the Apc, I think few hours to their primary is the most crucial moment because PMB will decide for the governors and in general their delegates. I expect Tinubu to put up a good fight but if he is not the President candidate, that baba should just forget it , aren't you scare of the way politicians are buying a whole #100m Apc presidential ticket , it has never happen in the history of this country , there is definitely a remote doing all this it's not just normal , perhaps it's a plan to do wayowayo to the most popular candidate among them . grin

TheCOAS:
2023 election is certainly going be Peter Obi (if Atiku don't share dollars days to PDP primary) versus Tinubu

Point to note:

1.
Igbos will massively vote PO and South South will provide at least 55-60% support.

2.
80% of Yorubas will vote Tinubu (base on omo "eni oni sedi bèbèrè ka fi ìlèkè si idi omo elomi"

3.
North Central like PDP and Obi may win

4.
Northeast and Northwest will decide who is the next Nigeria President

5.
APC may get 80% votes from North East states (except Bauchi State) due to the APC Governors performance.

6.
Northwest big 3Ks (Kano, Kaduna and Kastina) may go to APC due to the influence of Ganduje, Rufai and Buhari.

7.
Also, any party with good Vice president candidate will also make good impact.

8.
Lastly, the work is more easier for Tinubu, Obi have a lot of work to do to gain Hausa's support. No real Hausa-Fulani will feel safe in the hand of an Igbo man.

I pray the best candidate win.

In you analyses don't you think the choice of a running mate could affect the votes?
Will Tinubu choose a Christian running mate from the north as Muslim-Muslim ticket may not sell? Will the majority northern muslims rather vote for a Christian VP or Muslim VP?
Peter Obi could likely choose a Muslim candidate which I think will be more palatable to both northern Muslims and Christians from all over the country.
Let's not forget that we can't be very sure of what's left of Buhari's influence in the North at the end of his tenure. They voted massively for him as an individual rather than mere party. That's same way they had voted for him even while in CPC or so.
A lot of them could turn their backs on APC since Buhari isn't in the race.
