Our client is a player in the events planning and hospitality space. We are looking for a HR Officer/Generalist to Join the business. Job Description • Work with CEO to build out a structured HR and People Management department • Support the business units by taking responsibility for particular HR functions including employee relations, talent management, performance management, training and development, amongst others • Driving and implementing the people programmes and policies that support a vibrant, fast-paced, and high-performance culture of the company. • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructure, workforce planning, and succession planning. • Identify training needs for employees in various business units in the subsidiary • Develop tailored strategies that build morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Qualifications, Skills and Attributes • B.Sc. in r any other social sciences related courses • Experience Level: 3 – 4 years' of experience in a HR Generalist role. • Ability to create transformational HR processes and other value-adding continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
