The good thing with this is that Malami will not have immunity after this administration. He will be called to account for his time as AGF

Guyman don reason with sense.

This policy of resigning before seeking office good well well.

But my question be say what of if the president or governor is seeking for a re-election, will he or she have to resign first?

Only political appointees are required by law to resign before seeking elective office.

Of course, because he does not yet have immunity under governorship.

If he resigns he will be exposed to lawsuits. It is for similar reason that Buhari placed his outgoing chiefs of staff under diplomatic immunity, to shield them from lawsuits on their atrocities.

Malami knows very well.
He is afraid of being out of government because he is nonexistent in the political equation of his home state.
He is just riding on the wings of this Buhari administration. Who know him before he was appointed by Buhari?
People like Malami as a core member of this government is the reason for this administration big failure.
Anyway in a year from now he will definitely move out of government.
He should be prepared to face his own questioning.
Power is transient, if you don't want to leave power, power will leave you.

Re: Malami Withdraws From Kebbi Governorship, To Remain As AGF by Infinity2022: 6:47pm On May 13, 2022
It's becoming obvious that 100 million apc nomination form is just a fund raiser for the apc election rigging plans. Many of the people that obtained the form don't even have presidential ambition. Most of them were told to buy it just to generate money for the apc election rigging or else they will risk EFCC witch hunt. Before now, they have been told that anyone that knows that he will be found guilty of embezzlement of fund should immediately buy the 100 million presidential form to remove their names from the EFCC watch list.

MrMcJay:
This is why Buhari lost severally.
Malami has given legal advice to his colleagues that they could retain their offices and contest. Now, those who resigned will see how stupid they were to follow Malami.

You get it. Those that said Malami was Buhari candidate in kebbi State can see things now.

Even if Amaechi for example win the primary election, he stands the risk of being disqualified bcoz the electoral act says 30 days to primary election.

Primary election as at today that he resigned is 17 days away. You can see how Malami deceived them and withdrew back to his office quietly.

They said it was not Amaechi again, it was Jonathan. Where's Jonathan? As at 6.05pm that I left APC secretariat, no one has come to submit his Form if he actually filled it.

I bet you Amaechi is gone. Let's see how it goes for those that believe he's Buhari choice. They will be shocked that Buhari would switch off his phone on that day.

Malami also bought a house worth N150 million in the Gwarimpa area of Abuja. A school located at the back of NITEL in Gesse Phase 1, Birnin Kebbi and a house worth N600 million on Ahmadu Bello Way, Nasarawa GRA, Kano, are among properties acquired by Malami since he became a minister under President Buhari.

The houses he built for his sons in Kebbi are 200 metres apart in a posh part of the city.

That is not all. Malami also built N3billion multipurpose event centre in Kebbi State named Azbir Arena, for his son.

If this is not corruption then what is?
