The Surah Maryam is the 19th chapter of the Holy Quran based on 98 verses. The surah is named after the mother of Hazrat Esa عليه السلام. This surah was revealed in Mecca, before Hijra, and so it’s a Meccan surah. The chapter refers to many known Prophets of Islam like Hazrat Adam, Hazrat Idris, Hazrat Nooh, and more.
