Some areas in Asaba have experienced total lockdown today as schools sent back their wards and some businesses remain shut.

It would seem this is the beginning of active sit at home observance in some parts of Delta State. Two separate videos shared by indigenes show total lockdown in parts of Asaba in observance of the Monday Sit At Home protest.

Translation from first video : Have a look at what the streets look like today. Can you see the shops? Can you see the whole area (is deserted)? Are you certain today is a Monday? Can you see how the place looks like it's been abandoned?
