The Economic and Financial Crimes Commision has arrested the Accountant General of the Federation, Mr. Ahmed Idris, over alleged mismanagement of N80billion, THISDAY has learnt.

Sources said the arrest was made in Kano and he was currently being moved to Abuja.

The commission is expected to issue a statement shortly.
