Ofumelu Has Our Support For A Second Term.

Since the return of Democracy and inception of fourth Republic, No politician had been overwhelmed with massive grassroot appeal than the current member Representing Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency, Barr. Vincent Ifemenam Ekene Ofumelu.

Everywhere across Oyi and Ayamelum, the feeling is same, The clamor has been for a re-election of Ofumelu who has been nicknamed “Messenger of the People”. In the last two and half years at the Hallowed Chambers, Ofumelu turned the narratives around and ensured that his people of Oyi/Ayamelum were duly represented, unlike what it has been years before.

The practicing legal luminary had used his position as a legislator to advance development in the moribund Federal Constituency and proved to the people that leadership had been our problem all along.

In all the nooks and crannies of the communities and clans in both Oyi and Ayamelum are signature projects facilitated by Hon. Ofumelu to bridge the gap in poor infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, human capital and other socio economic activities.

His efforts to bring about change had seen numerous communities and clans have access to pipe borne water, Good Healthcare, and Roads.

As a congressman whose primary responsibility is to make laws, Ofumelu had used his position diligently and engaged in robust debates and Bills in the interest of Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency.

One of his popular Bills which had today scaled through Third Reading (Committee Stage) and now waiting for the assent of the President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, is the Bill for School of Nursing and Midwifery to be established at Nteje Aborgu in Oyi LGA, amongst many others.

In the last two and half years, Ofumelu has proved his mettle and integrity keeping to his social contract with the people.

His track records had garnered him massive support and appeal for a second term “Unopposed” at the Hallowed Chambers.

Leaders of thought, Political sophisticated many, Youths, Students, artisans, market men and women are mobilizing voters, inaugurating groups and sending in financial support to ensure that Hon. Barr. Vincent Ofumelu returns to the 10th Assembly to continue his good works beyond 2023.

The popular slogan which has clustered Oyi and Ayamelum in recent time now had been #CONTINUITYNOTCHANGE all in support of the people’s messenger and baring any possible opposition in next year General Election.
