David's Holy Discontentment: Taking away the reproach from God's people

In the midst of a national confusion arose David. A holy discontentment grew in his heart when he saw the reproach that Goliath was bringing upon the people of God. So, he offered himself for service to deliver the people from the shameful grip of the enemy.

Though his resolve was greatly downplayed by others, even his own brothers, he did not allow the songs of impossibility being played into his heart to take out his courage. He rather trusted in God, offering himself to make a difference in the unpleasant situation and he got victory!
