Job Description

To lead all proactive activities in safety, health, and environment and support HSE compliance to internal, company, and International standards.

Responsibilities
• To drive and implement the Corporate HSE policies and procedures on-site, and ensure the site is compliant with legislation
• Develop and maintain the site emergency plan
• Drive the company initiatives and ensure control for compliance
• Train all on-site and at all levels, including Contractors and visitors, on HSE issues & requirements.
Perform HSE audits, tours, Risk assessments and implementation action plans
Qualification & Requirements
• HND/ BSC or equivalent or nationally recognised equivalent in any of physical/Biological Sciences / Chemical Engineering
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience in Health, Safety and Environmental management role
• Good project management and assertive communication skills
• Demonstrate detailed understanding of the Permit to Work system and HSE policies, statutory requirements, and responsibilities.

Remuneration:

Pay: N63,000
Perks: Pension, NHF, Leave and 13th-month allowances, HMO, ITF, NSITF and Group life insurance
