Nzeribe also scuttled the national consensus to create a 6th SE state from his senatorial district in 2007 by his starting to turn truth upside-down with asking for Orashi state with headquarters in his Oguta hometown, instead of Njaba state with Orlu as headquarters. Without a 6th state, the SE remains underrepresented in the NASS because of Nzeribe chasing falsehood then.
