This Sunday afternoon, rampaging gun men made a stop over at the popular Ogbunike Toll gate Cattle market in Oyi LGA, Anambra State.

They shot sporadically at the cows there, killing many of them while traders and passers-by scampered for safety.

The gun men also killed three men; Two Northerners suspected to be cattle dealers at the market and an Igbo man who from what we learnt was a bus driver who conveys rice from Abakaliki, capital city of Ebonyi to Onitsha, Anambra State commercial city.

Many traders ran away with varying degrees of injury as they tried to take cover from stray bullet which rent the air as they retired to their abode.

It could be recall that the security situation in the SouthEast has degenerated so badly that the Chairman SouthEast Governor's Forum, Chief Engr Dave Umahi recently blamed Ohanaeze Ndigbo leadership from initiating a political solution to the matter relating with the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

IPOB is championing for a breakaway Republic of Biafra comprising of Igbos predominantly found in SouthEast and some part of SouthSouth geopolitical zone citing injustice, marginalization and hatred against Igbo.

Nnamdi Kanu's led IPOB came into limelight in 2012 after he(Kanu) formed the group to restore Biafra which FG later in 2017 proscribed and outlawed in Nigeria.

They are fanning the embers of war and some people are still living in denial..

Like we would say in Yoruba land, no one will tell a child not to associate with lepers and be infected with leprosy if he can fend for himself in the forest alone.

It is like most Easterners are happy with the growing menace of the UGMs, an acronym that was formed when they were killing just soldiers alone now they have transmogrified into killer machines against the very same people they swore to protect.

Go and check 80 to 90 percent of the location of people who are radically in support of these unknown gunmen, you will see that they are physically located outside the East, yet they are the ones rationalizing every angle of the massacre committed by these murderous mob.

I just saw a video where two guys slaughtered one yellow fine girl in a bush, while one of stabbing her, the other proceeded to cutting her neck like a goat. All the while they were communicating in the Igbo dialect.

If this is not worrisome for some, they killed and beheaded a legislator yesterday, just to say a few...

There are more people crying in Igbo land than the herdsmen the UGM claimed to fight against.
