Decamping can some times be political suicide. I don't know for other states but Plateau state PDP delegates just did a shadow - election in respect to their primaries. The delegates voted people who have delivered or are delivering in there assignments given them by the electorates.

I hope he will not jump ship later later. PDP lost ondo because of his selfish ambition
