Mohammed Hayatu-Deen Withdraws From PDP Presidenrial Race by vicdom(m): 7:16am On May 28
A peoples Democratic Party Presidential aspirant, Mohammed Hayatu-Deen has withdrawn from the race for the party’s ticket just hours to the commencement of party’s primary election.

In a letter addressed to the National Chairman of the party, Sen. Iyiochia Ayu, which he signed, the economist and former banker said he withdrew from the race on grounds of morality noting that the entire contest has been “obscenely monitized.”

He said, “I joined the contest as a democrat, with an open mind to keenly contest and accept the result of a process that is fair, credible and transparent. We have endeavoured to forge a consensus which would have facilitated a seamless emergence of a candidate which unfortunately could not be achieved”.

Hayatu-Deen further said, “I did not join party politics and to contest for the presidency because of personal gains and inordinate ambition, but in order to serve our country.

“It is therefore based on personal principles and with great humility that I have decided after wide consultations to withdraw from this contest which has been obscenely monetized”

Good luck to the remaining people but I will like you to still be part of the team that will rescue Nigerians in the hands of this wicked and heartless APC government in 2023.

When Obi withdrew from the race, a lot of people here called him a coward and all sorts of name because of tribalism. Now another candidate has withdrawn but the comments are different from the vile directed at PO. May God save us.

He withdrew to make ATIKU buy his favored delegates.
PDP will remain in opposition after May 29, 2023.

His supporters are a bunch of senseless and delusional urchins who think elections are won on Twitter. They are far from the actual reality on ground and can’t give him up to 1million votes on Election Day.

Idiot. Because you be corrupt banker before you think you have the type of dollars that Atiku and Nyesom Wike go share? You for sell your family house nah and even sell your children at Libya Slave market.

When Atiku and Nyesom Wike are talking about dollars, so kindergarten politicians too dey show face. Go and ask Peter Pandora Obituary a fellow rogue banker like you why he ran away nah.

Only Tinubu the Jagaban Borgu can outspend Atiku and Nyesom Wike with our stolen money.

If Thunder does not strike all these generational looters, then the gods are MAD

Hayatudeen must have overestimated his political value. It is true that Wike and Atiku have used money to scatter everywhere but you can't also deny the fact that Wike and Atiku have better political structure. That one is built over the years in politics not money alone. Even if they didn't share money, no PDP delegate will vote for people that are not household names. It will be hard to sell such candidates in remote villages where active voters reside. But then, sharing money only makes it even easier when you already have structures. And as for PDP postponing their primaries, I say it is dead on arrival cos people have entered Abuja are they going to keep them for one week? Can the party afford it? They should hold their primaries and allow APC implode afterwards cos as it stands APC is more vulnerable to implosion than PDP.

Its amazing how you equal Peter Obi supporters with APC supporters, why not Tinubu supporters.. it would amaze you there are APC supporters whom are not Tinubu supporters like yourself whom would not vote a GEJ if he emerges APC candidate.
