There is something the south East, South south and south west is yet to realize....in the North you Will never see North East, North West or North Central clamoring for presidency...they believe as long you are from the North you are good to go and are the same... but when you come to south...this one will say i am from South south, the other will say i am from South West while the other will claim south East...the division is just so much among southerners and it's affecting the political structures. Not until you all come together, the North will always outsmart you guys

. A socio-political activist, Reno Omokri has attributed the victory of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar at the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential primary elections to “Northern solidarity”.


DAILY POST recalls that Atiku was endorsed by some Northern stakeholders prior to his victory against the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

According to a post on his verified Facebook page, Reno explained that Atiku emerged winner of the presidential election following the decision of Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State to step down for the former Vice President.

Wike had supported the presidential ambition of Governor Tambuwal in the 2019 presidential election against Atiku.


Reno stated that the South needs to learn from the North on how to play such politics.

He wrote, “The South has a lot to learn from the genuine brotherly love and unity displayed by Northerners.

“Consider that though Wike backed Tambuwal against HE Atiku in 2019, the same Tambuwal has turned around to back HE Atiku against Wike in 2022. Northern solidarity! It is something that the South lacks.

“Tambuwal has shown that Northern solidarity is thicker and stronger than financial solidarity”.

Reno lacks perspective plenty of times.

Wike supported Tambuwal against Atiku in 2019.

Tambuwal, supported Atiku against Wike in 2023.

This is betrayal, not solidarity.

Wike is the most føolish human on earth. While he was busy badmouthing his fellow southern brother Peter Obi, Tambuwal he adores so much was having in mind to dropped his presidential ambition to support his fellow northerner.

Which northern solidarity? Atiku won because he knew how to woo the delegates to his side with the greenback tsk tsk tsk...if he decided not to dough out the bread, he will fail on earth and dem go hear for the spirit world.

Reno is right. Wike actually got most of his votes from the North. His southerner fellows are the ones that messed him up, especially that Udom. I have reasons to believe that if Udom had countered the Tambuwal capitulation to Atiku by also stepping down for his SS brethren Wike, that could have changed the momentum in Wike's favour.

Udom knew quite well that he stood no chance of winning, yet he went ahead and split Wike's votes, while Tambuwal stepped down for his Fulani brother in the North East region. That was the game-changer that probably swayed some votes in Atiku's favour.

But if na wike him for gree step down for Udom or another of his southern brother?......
Southern with their wahala......greed

Wike's loss is a PLUS for Peter Obi.

This way, the southern votes will not be shared during the general elections.

So obviously it will be
PDP(NORTH) - Atiku
APC(SW) - Tinibu
LP(SE) - Peter Obi.

Question is, will the SOUTH learn?

Else, Atiku will achieve his life ambition of becoming the next president.

A wise Man would know that the northerners are capable of pulling out supprises like they did yesterday, in the hope to continue the brotherly interest of their region, you should know that by now. Blame your foolish southern politicians and governor's who even went to a stupid meeting to buttress an all southern presidency, but yet divided among themselves, with each wanting to be that particular southern presidential flagbearer take southern politicians of PDP for example

Wike only backed Tambuwal because he knew he will lose and open up opportunity for him come 2023.

It's not tambuwal alone, it's a Fulani/Hausa thing, they will always support a northerner against a southerner. Southerners should have sense by now and put aside their differences. The disunity of the south is the reason why the north will continue to rule the south at the national level.

As for Tambuwal, he is a perennial traitor.

It is the same way he betrayed Femi Gbajabiamila who was his lead campaigner within the opposition ACN to help him secure the Speakership of the House against the PDP leadership choice of Mrs Akande from the SouthWest.

When it was time for Tambuwal as an APC governor of Sokoto and immediate past Speaker to support a Southern Muslim Femi Gbajabiamila against a Northern Christian Yakubu Dogora, Tambuwal totally forgot about Femi and favoured Dogora.

Infact, Tambuwal forgot that Femi Gbajabiamila was one of those who jumped the gate of the National Assembly to withstand the undemocratic lockout by the Goodluck Jonathan government against Tambuwal when he was at the point of decamping from PDP to the newly formed APC.

That matter pained Tinubu and he told Tambuwal to his face, reminding him how Gbajabiamila came to plead Tambuwal's case before him, so that the ACN legislators as the largest opposition then could work with Tambuwal, who was then in PDP, to defeat PDP's choice of the Yoruba Mrs Mulikat Akande.

Tambuwal knows no loyalty.

Southern politicians should avoid having any political partnerships with him. His political memory is just 2 Kilobyte.
