This is one method beggars used to defraud travelers and it's no different in Germany


But the only difference is that instead of using "spiritual vision", in Germany, these fake beggars tell you sad stories about themselves to get more money from you and also distract you while their children or partner in crime steal from your bags. Be extremely vigilant and do not carry all your money with you always.
