Truthfully, I have asked this very last question you asked here several times, but I keep reaching the same conclusion. For clarity I don't think NRA did sponsor the shooting but what I gathered from his assertion is that they will capitalize on this recent events that having a gun prevented more deaths.

Absolutely ! This was exactly what came to my mind ! This incident should be properly and independently investigated. It looks,to me,like it was engineered to promote the NRA's agenda !
