Arise, shine; for thy light is come

As God's own people today, we have a duty to be a light to the world that is covered with darkness - ignorance and unrighteousness. The glory of God that has risen upon us by our salvation through Jesus Christ must be reflected as a light to dispel the gross darkness that has befallen the people of the earth.

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee" - Isaiah 60:2. However, you may wonder, what happens if we are unable to rise up to this responsibility to shine God's light into the world?
