The Primary election of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the State Assembly held on the 2nd of June across every state of the federation, took another turn in Ondo state and Owo Constituency as the Young Prince Samuel Adesegun Egunjobi (Shuugar) emerged as the winner of the primary election and affirmed as the flagbearer of the party for the Owo Constituency II.

The emergence of Ambassador Egunjobi Samuel as the winner of the internal election of the party, to determine the candidate to present to the Constituency as flagbearer into the general election didn't surprise many Political analyst and Party stakeholders, because of his drive and passion for general well-being of people and development of Owo local government.

Honorable Egunjobi who is not a rookie or novice to governance, politics and strategic leadership, one of the most vocal Youth who challenged the Fulani Herdsmen menace of farm destruction and attacked of farming communities in Owo/Ose area of the state.

His timely establishment of Ondo Food bank to curb the Hunger crises, Youth unemployment and Household support gave him an advantage as a Young visionary and Proactive Leader that will catapult the Development of the state through people's oriented representation and legislation if elected in the 2023 general election.
