The north keeps playing on the Souths intelligence. They have come together to give the south APC Ticket, So you will not say they are unfair.

Now they have done their part. They will now use the funds of the southern candidates to work for Atiku Abubakar.

If they deny the South Ticket in APC now, they south will unify under one party. But if they betray you on the day of elections, you are helpless.

Their plans will be executed on the day of elections, not party primaries.

Theirs is to give you ticket, but not responsible for winning the elections.

Better Support peter obi as the southern candidate, or experience the worste betrayal in history on the election day.

Like i said earlier, this election is between Atiku and peter Obi.

Wrong analysis

Modified.
I don't know if it's arrogance or ignorance, first you assume you know what the "North" is thinking. That's why you are always a step behind.
One thing I can guarantee you from the north is no northern leader/cleric worth the name would dare claim he is more Muslim than a southern Muslim- so if that will be the campaign against BAT it is DOA. Even the tribal card would be a tough sell in the north to the "arewa talakawas" because of Buhari's impact on the region or the lack of it.

Personally I haven't made up my mind on who to support but the more BAT is vilified the more "curious" we get

The north will choose yoruba muslim married to a pastor over northern muslim?

Will Tinubu present muslim muslim ticket?

You people are extremely ignorant of politics. How can a politician sacrifice his party in which he has power, capacity, position and privileges for another party because of ethnic or regional bias?
It is good for u to know that grassroot politicians belong to social class that binds them with common interest (power and money) while religion, ethnicity and region play no significant role in pursuance of their interest. You need to wait and see how the dust of this primary election will calm down and how Tinubu will flourish in he North.
What I can't guarantee u is, Buhari underperformed below the huge expectations of people and this has consequently affected the support APC used to have. Go and see how Northerners are castigating Buhari in every news publish on social media, however Atiku will definitely receive a huge set back to the advantage of APC; Kwankwaso was in PDP in 2019 election and his large crowd of supporters who are mostly PDP members will give Atiku a big blow coupled with Peter Obi's Labour Party which will definitely hurt the chances of PDP.
Tinubu may not get the support Buhari used to have but you'll be disappointed!

First, APC failed to deliver, Secondly religion will play a huge role.

As for party, do parties have ideology ? People move from party to party everyday.

The north will always put regional interest ahead of party interest.

Why do you think Jonathan lost the elections? Because the North felt he should not contest. The Northerners in PDP left and joined APC to defeat PDP.

The same Northerners in APC can leave to join PDP to defeat APC. Its regional interest before party interest in the North.

GEJ won in 2011 and he got the requisite percentage in almost all Northern states that made him won. However, the scenario is different in this case. North and SW formed APC because GEJ broke the promise he made not to contest in 2015 and gave North the chance as part of the party's zoning agreement.
Many Northerners today are tired of their kinsmen in a position that is not in anyway beneficial to them, after all Not the ruled for almost 8yrs. Competence and issue based campaign will be the major ground in the North come 2023...

The north know that Atiku will march any body APC brings out , in their normal game plan, they don't want any northener to disrupt Atiku work in the North', seeing that Peter is raising massive followers within the short period and the reawakening of Igbbs into recent massive quest for PVC, they tactically decided to move APC ticket to south, prefarebly to tinubu, to destroy the southwest votes, that is why nnamani complained that they north are not sincere by just announcing that they have zoned the power to south in disguise as if they serious just a day to the primary election this is after studying the situation on the ground they just wanted Atiku to be the only and sole candidate from the north because kwakwanso will not compromise, he was an initial standby mode for the north who were waiting for the south who were threatening fire and brickstone at the early stage, so all is clear now for Atiku to March into aso rock

Re: Will The South Say The North Is Unfair? by Oplomo: 2:29pm On Jun 08, 2022
We may all not like it. But Atiku is the next president of Nigeria.

Nigerian politics is not that difficult to predict, we just have to jettison emotions and embrace geopolitical statistical truths staring us in the face and you'll make the right prediction.

Even tinubu's supporters knew this, that was why they campaigned very hard to ensure Wike gets PDP ticket. Because he will be easier to campaign against for them. grin

When Atiku emerged, tinubu supporters and members felt exactly the way many anti-tinubus feel today. That should tell you all what need to know. cheesy grin

The North simply needs tinubus money. I knew he would get the ticket. Because who else would spend that much for ticket if not him?

Nigerian Govts only performed well between 1960-1966, the rest are grand corruption and misplaced priorities. With what is on ground and the antecedents of Kwankwaso, Peter Obi, Tinubu and Atiku I don't think there is much choice left for us.
Party isn't the problem, we need to go for individuals with vision and mission, tested and trusted no matter how little they performed, let the citize choose the best among them...

Peter obi is the one. The countries we borrow from became great by trading. Obi will position Nigeria for export and not borrowing.
