Buhari's Consensus Candidate is Tinubu.
If the north doesn't support tinubu as it stands.

They will loose the trust of the southerner for a long time.


Buhari is Endorsing Tinubu. The north wants a feigned Contest.

The northerners are all voting for Atiku.

I will advise tinubu to just decamp to SDP. Support a younger Nigerian for president

I think Buhari secretly wants Atiku to win so that they can have a fulani after him and he knows that he can't nominate a fulani directly so he wants to sabotage apc by putting someone who can't beat Atiku.
To them fulanization is more important than apc,pdp or even nigeria!

BAT will be disqualified because he said he will not step down for a concensus candidate except if he is the concensus candidate.
That statement is a big anti-party statement, knowing that the party reigns supreme above all members.
Others that agreed to step down are not political babies now.
The man is OLD, how could he have taken such stand and decision against the party?! He will definitely be disqualified.
Even if the Constitution of the party states that all candidates should agree on a concensus, you cannot disagree against the party,s move. That's the reason for the withdrawal form they signed in the nomination and declaration of interest form they bought.

lose trust of which southerner? Just say SW and stop dragging other southerners into your issue with the north.

For those hoping for Tinubu to be disqualified, it would be wrong. They should allow a fair primary. His exit will mean the end of APC. Disqualifying him will also mean the end of APC. However, I don't stand on his mandate. Peter Obi or Yemi Osinbajo are better candidates for 2023 election. We should not be limited to people who are in the departure lounge. We are young and we need a good life, a brighter future, and no old man can give us that. Vote futuristic leaders. Tinubu's ship has sailed a long time ago. He should be providing support to a younger candidate

Why would he lose Lagos? Lagos has never depended on federal might. If you look at the last presidential election Lagos was split about 60-40, so it is very easy for Lagos to vote for Atiku while still supporting APC at the governorship or state level.

So you think he will still maintain control over Lagos APC while openly supporting Atiku against APC presidential candidate in the general election?

Yes because you underestimate how Lagos operates. It was a powerhouse before gaining power at the federal level and will remain a powerhouse even without that power.
