BABACHIR LAWAL: IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO SUPPORT YORUBAS IN NATIONAL POLITICS.. by FallenShitHole: 9:28pm On Jun 03, 2022
Lawal said: Sometimes it is very difficult to support a Yoruba person in national politics if you are not one. They have a way of making you regret your support because they eventually make you seem like a traitor to your own people. Now all these comments about Bola’s Yoruba presidency and his support of Buhari without which Buhari would not have been president is bullshit.

“He wasn’t the only one whose support made a difference. There were many others from all around the country and they are not bragging about it.You may wish to know that all of us Buhari supporters are shocked and pissed off by Bola’s speech on this occasion. It is unlike him.

It's funny how Yoruba keep saying that Igbos are politically irrelevant as if Nigeria started in 2015. Everybody knows that yorubas are the greatest political failure in national politics

Traitor are already showing their faces. Very hard, but when he was supporting you and getting his image tarnished, it was all brothely love.

Truth, he played a major role, but there were so many other actors, including the media. And Nigerians were just tired of Jonathan.
That aside, Buhari rewarded Tinubu handsomely, he nominated Osibanjo according to him, and Buhari appointed most of his loyalists in his government.
Presidency is not anybody's right, and while all hope is not lost for him, going confrontational is not the best

Imagine someone setting out a thread to attack the Yorubas on a platform owned by a Yoruba man. The enjoy hating the tribe that has accommodated them the most in this country. They are quick to jump up and dance when criticism against the tribe is raised. My question is can any of the tribe in Nigeria own this type of platform and watch as people from other tribes destructively criticise her tribe?
If the South is not united today, don't blame the Yoruba even the Igbos play the most significant role in causing disunity.
I keep asking, was Nigeria not formed on a tripod? Why then are people who claimed GEJ is Azikikwe from Eastern region now disclaiming his tenour? So, if the Igbos enjoyed power under GEJ why are they now angry that Yorubas are contesting? Isn't it a repeat of betrayal when Orji Uzor Kalu said it is better for Lawal Ahmed to be president if it's not going to the SE. Bad politics! Why did the Igbos in PDP FAILED TO SUPPORT PETER OBI OR why did the delegates from SE not vote their own but choose to trade it for Atiku's dollar? Don't blame Yoruba for the bad politics. As it stands today, you can call Tinubu any name, he has the support of a significant percentage of the SW. DO we have such politicians from SE with do wode acceptance? The Igbos will be president when they learn to support their own, stop blaming other tribes for their political misfortune. It after supporting your son that you can now send him to larger Nigeria for support. I sincerely wish Peter Obi well. If o politicians prefer USD to his candidacy. Sad, very sad!

Igbo's are a million times better and more experienced in politics than the Yoruba's.

Stop all these una useless, baseless and hopeless comparisons.

Igbo's have gone overboard.

Are you asking your fulani masters or are you playing out your coward nature by leaving out a well spelt out fulani name, Babachir Lawal who openely blasted your race, to blame Igbos for your misery?
