Hmmm..... I just hate okro because of the slime! I know it is nutritious... like a must for males... but darn that slime!... can't get past it! Do really manage to chew on it?.... or only by luck?!... I can only imagine the moment it rests in my mouth it just slither down my throat without me having the chance to swallow! But recently someone had it all mixed in with other greens and peppers and stuff.... a kind of crunchy leafy vegetable stew with rice... I stuffed it all... was sooo delicious and I felt so healthy. After taking my empty plate to the kitchen I noticed ochro heads an dared to ask if that was part of the meal. Devoured it and don't even know... still don't know the taste. My respect to you ochre eaters!

But what concern Okra soup with Stew? It's only a Yoruba woman that will refer Soup as Stew. And when she finally decide to make stew she will empty the red oil container in the house,with one basket of Pepper.
