I created this topic just to have a feel of the reasons people joined Nairaland how beneficial it has been.

I joined Nairaland in 2006 and i had joined just to keep abreast with happenings in Nigeria as i was abroad and there was nothing like whatsapp groups then. However, over time it became a very veritable tool for business and versatility for me. I have met people here who we later became good friends. Let me know why you joined.
