Fayemi is a good man but we need a bad guy to be president. Nigeria is full of bad and evil people so only a devilish and Putin-like leader can lead Nigeria now. But if they give him, it will settle nerves. I am not a politician and I am not having preference for any candidate but if Atiku should win the election it will mark the beginning of the end of Nigeria because APC will simply wait and return the favour in four years time and on and on... But maybe the North/cabal don't want a strong candidate from the South. So that if he wins, he won't feel too cocky or have a sense of entitlement. And their bidding always.

Imagine, Tinubu has not yet secured the ticket, he is already saying that he made everybody what they are. So what if he is now president? A sense of entitlement that the North were always concerned about. Frankly, even many Southerners who suspected such attitude now have it confirmed.

So, the North, if they choose to let a Southerner be APC candidate, it will be a Southerner who will show them gratitude. It greatly improves the chances of Amaechi, Fayemi and Osinbajo.

Voodoo economists were saying that oil prices were high, so GEJ govt had plenty of money. But they forgot conveniently that high oil prices meant govt had to pay astronomical oil subsidies to importers who were most North and SW companies. They deceived their people to protest in order to keep the oil subsidies they were stealing (by faking documents of landing and re-routing petrol cargoes to neighbouring countries to resell at higher rate. Now we pay far higher subsidies than GEJ time.

Why should I be sad? GEJ even spent his time in office trying to help the North grow and educate their almajiris to reduce potential terrorists in the future.

It is 9ja that lost.
